2C Road Improvement Project

The team members at Basis perform the Materials Testing and Inspection Services contract for the 2C Road Improvement project.

The project delivers over $50 million in road improvements per year including ADA facilities, sidewalk, drainage improvements, roadway reconstruction, mill and overlay within the City of Colorado Springs. Basis delivers superior inspection services on this project due to their technical knowledge of all aspects of the project; comprehensive understanding of City standards; ability to coordinate with many stakeholders whether it be City, CSU, private utilities, contractors or private citizens and our commitment to being a responsive partner to the City project managers.

In addition to Inspection services:

Monitoring five concrete contractors and two mill and overlay contractors the team at Basis also provides the City with planning, field engineering and assessment services.  The detailed planning and assessment services capture all existing issues on 2C street segments from deteriorated stormwater infrastructure to drainage issues and ADA deficiencies.  Our intensive pre-construction process provides the City with all information necessary to execute the project within their schedule and budget.
